European City Prints: Barcelona, Vienna, Munich and Madrid
Share
Travel prints work best when they mean something — a city you lived in, a trip you keep coming back to. Our city prints cover five European capitals, shot for architecture and street detail rather than postcards.
Vienna
The standout is Vienna Library — the State Hall of the Austrian National Library, all gilded shelves and painted ceiling. It's a favourite with anyone who loves books, and it goes large well. Vienna Concert House is the Konzerthaus facade, Viennese Ride is the Prater ferris wheel, and Schweizerhaus is the beer garden at the Prater — a lighter, more nostalgic take on the city.
Barcelona
Barcelona Corner is a colonnade in the old town; Barcelona Pillar looks down a narrow alley to a bell tower. Both are about the Gothic Quarter's light — stone, shadow, a slice of sky.
Munich
Munich Architecture is a grand facade in full; Curved Munich Building follows a sweeping frontage in the old town. For the more everyday city, Munich Lamp is a street lamp on a quiet lane and Bierhall Location is a beer-hall street sign.
Madrid and Brussels
Madrid Overlooker is a rooftop view across the city; Madrid Statue a monument in detail; Espana Flag the Spanish flag against a facade. From Brussels, Belgium Atomium is the 1958 landmark and Belgian Lamp an ornate street lamp on the Grand Place.
Building a travel wall
- Pick a thread. All architecture, or all "the city I know best", or all shot in the same light. A wall of unconnected landmarks looks like a travel agent's window.
- Match the format. Framed prints suit city and architecture work — the glazing keeps the fine detail sharp. See the format guide.
- One hero, several supporting. Vienna Library or Barcelona Corner as the anchor, then smaller detail prints around it.
- Hallways love these. Receding lines and architectural perspective draw you along a corridor.
