Barcelona & Spain Wall Art: Photography Prints from Two Cities
Share
Barcelona and Madrid photograph completely differently. Barcelona is texture and colour at street level — ironwork, tiling, a flag caught mid-flutter against a facade. Madrid is scale — wide streets, tall statues, a city built to be looked up at. The Spain collection covers both.
Barcelona: corners and colonnades
The Barcelona prints in this shop weren't shot on Las Ramblas. They're from the old town's quieter corners — a colonnade in soft contrast against a clear sky, a bell tower framed by the buildings either side of it, an ornate pillar anchoring a street scene. Barcelona rewards looking sideways and up, not just straight ahead.
Madrid: statues and skyline
Madrid's prints lean architectural — a rooftop view over the city, a monument statue standing proud amid the streets, the Spanish flag against a facade. If Barcelona is about texture, Madrid is about scale and symmetry, and the photographs reflect that.
Where they work
These sit well in an office or hallway — the architectural subjects have a formality that suits a working space — but they're just as at home as a single statement piece in a living room. If you want more than one, browse the wider European travel photography collection and pair a Spain print with one from Rome, Vienna or Munich for a travel-themed wall.
Every print here is my own photograph, made to order on canvas, as a framed print, a hanging poster or a rolled matte poster, with free UK delivery. Need a size that isn't listed? Message me — most sizes are possible.
